Customs & Extra Charges

Customs rules in various countries can frequently change, causing delays and at times, additional charges imposed by the receiving country. While we take all reasonable steps to comply with general world shipping standards, Redbubble may not know the details of additional customs taxes or duties, or if any specific item is prohibited or can be confiscated by the receiving country.

If you are shopping in the US, Canada, Europe or Australia most of the third party printers we work with are nearby and are therefore not subject to custom charges. For an overview of our global production network, check out our Product Manufacturing Info.

What to do if you are charged duty or customs taxes?

  1. Please pay the requested amount, if you're able.
  2. Take a photo of the receipt, clearly showing the amount, and that it has been paid.
  3. Submit a form (using the button below) with your photo of the receipt and order number
  4. We’ll shoot a refund straight to you for the extra charge and be sure to send a confirmation email

I need a customs refund

Can you display a different total price on my invoice/Package?

We can’t alter the invoice price in any way. This means the price that you see during check-out is the final price - we can’t alter it due for any customs reasons.
