Verifying your details

Redbubble is partnering with Stripe to verify your details and allow Redbubble to meet legal reporting and compliance requirements. Stripe will not be used for your Artist payments.

If you are required to verify your details, we’ll let you know via email, and you’ll see a “Verify Details” section on your “Edit Payment Details” page.

What to know before you start

The information you need to verify will depend on where you’re located and if you’re an individual or a business.

This is a two-part process.

  1. On Redbubble select your country
    • If you’re outside of the US, you may also be asked for your business type (individual or company) and tax identification number (this would also be your National Insurance Number or Social Insurance Number, depending on your country.)
  2. Then you'll be redirected to Stripe to complete the rest of the process

Stripe Verification

Once you begin this process, you can't edit your first name, last name, or residential address on the Redbubble website and will have to go through Stripe.

United States

If you make $5,000 and have 200 transactions within the last 12 months, you will need to verify your details through Stripe. Stripe requires the requested information to verify your identity, but only the necessary details will be used to meet legal reporting and compliance requirements.
