Verifying your details

To verify your details and allow Redbubble to meet legal reporting and compliance requirements, Redbubble is partnering with Stripe, which specializes in identity verification. For more information about the rules in your region, see the requirements below.

Let’s make sure your shop meets those requirements!

Keep in mind

The information you provide to Stripe will only be used for verification purposes and will not be used for your Artist payments. Even if you choose a different currency while going through this verification process, only the currency selected in your Redbubble account will be used for your Artist payments.

Be sure to keep your payment details up to date in your Account Settings on Redbubble.

What to know before you start

The information you need to verify will depend on where you’re located and if you’re an individual or a business.

This is a two-part process.

  1. You will start on Redbubble by selecting your country
    • If you’re outside of the US, you may also be asked for your business type (individual or company) and tax identification number (this would also be your National Insurance Number, or Social Insurance Number, depending on your country.)
  2. You will then be redirected to Stripe to complete the rest of the process using the guidance below

US INFORM Act

Heads up! If you are in the US, some of your details will be visible on your Redbubble shop.
  • Individual seller: Your shop name, state and country, and links to your social media
  • Company seller: Your shop name, company address, and company phone number
These details are added to comply with the INFORM Act.

Stripe Verification

Keep in mind that you can’t edit your name or residential address once you're enrolled in the verification process. However, you can change your postal address at any time.

The requested information is a requirement by Stripe to verify your identity. However, only the necessary details will be used to meet legal reporting and compliance requirements.
