Make fan art for Borderlands
You can now submit fan art designs for the chance to be included in Redbubble's Fan Art & Partner Program with the Borderlands! Before you upload, read through the following guidelines and ensure to properly tag your designs. Approved designs will be allowed for sale, limited to Redbubble, for the duration of Borderlands fan art program.

GUIDELINES FOR SUCCESS
- Make original and creative designs inspired by the Borderlands game series, including Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales From the Borderlands, Borderlands 3, and Borderlands 4.
- Create original artwork. We want to see your artistic interpretations, not marketing art, screenshots, logos, or other existing elements. Use the game and existing images as references, but do not repurpose any existing asset as part of your design. (With the exception of the brand elements that the licensor has provided.) This program is a showcase for your art; so we want to see YOUR ART.
- Experiment with different art styles and techniques for your Borderlands fan art.
- Consider using custom text rather than pre-made fonts in your designs. If you do use fonts, use only fonts which you have the right to use in this context.
- Treat brand elements such as the vault symbol with respect and do not distort them. Download the logos here. However, we encourage applying different treatments to the vault symbol, or to create a vault symbol that appears to be made of different materials. (For example: a Vault Symbol that appears to be finger painted, or a Vault Symbol made of slime might be acceptable as part of a cool original design.)
- Celebrate the Borderlands characters and consider featuring references, characters, or props that only a deep fan would recognize. Create designs that you’d love to have or wear!
- Feel free to use humor in your designs. Make jokes that are “all in fun” and not mean-spirited.
- Double check that words are spelled correctly before you submit your design.
- Do not modify or stretch any Borderlands or Gearbox logos in a way that makes it unrecognizable or distorted.
- Don't submit any design that includes photographs of yourself or others, unless official photography release documentation can be provided.
- Don't closely copy existing designs, try to be unique and original. Designs that look like recreations of existing merchandise or designs may be removed from sale.
- Do not incorporate excess splatter elements or distressed elements in your design.
- Do not submit designs with foul language, derogatory or negative connotations, inappropriate themes, political content, references to smoking or alcohol, or anything else that would be seen as hateful or harmful.
- Don’t create mash ups with other official 3rd party IP and Borderlands in your fan art.
- Do not depict extreme graphic violence, gore, blood, or swear words.
- Do not use Borderlands to advertise any businesses, products, events or services of any party.
- Do not submit designs if you are an employee of or contracted artist for Gearbox or are otherwise engaged in official work related to the Borderlands franchise.

You will receive an official email confirmation from Redbubble
if your design is accepted into the program.
- Your design is allowed for sale on Redbubble through this program only for the active duration of the partnership with Borderlands
- Your design is subject to re-review at any time and may be removed from sale at any time.

on their product page:

Designs that are in violation may be removed from the marketplace.
Avoid hateful, divisive, and adult content in your artwork such
as:
- Violence or self-mutilation.
- Vulgarity and sexually explicit content.
- Hateful language or derogatory references to race, gender, religion, intellectual disability, obesity, or physical impairment.
