On September 25th, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) launched a national strike. Unfortunately, this means Canada Post’s operations will be shut down for the duration of this national strike. For the latest information and service updates, please visit canadapost.ca/negotiations.
I’m thinking about placing an order. How will the Canada Post Strike affect my purchase?
We have taken measures to ensure that purchases made on the Redbubble marketplace will still get delivered to customers in a timely manner by leveraging our extensive shipping partnerships. For orders placed on or after September 26th, lettermail (untracked) and tracked shipments will ship via other shipping carriers. Please refer to your order history for tracking information as soon as it becomes available. Shipments may still experience delays.
Please note that for PO Box addresses, as well as remote, rural, and northern parts of Canada, Canada Post is the only carrier that can provide delivery service to these locations. We highly recommend placing your order using a shipping address that can accept deliveries from other shipping carriers.
I think my order shipped with Canada Post. What happens now?
While the national strike remains fluid, we understand that some shipments have been affected. If your order has not been delivered to you by the latest estimated delivery date, please submit a request here, and we’ll be happy to look into it for you!
